We are so excited to announce the opening of Sunstone Regenerative Medicine in Southern Colorado! As long time active members of the Colorado Springs community, our team is looking forward to creating lasting relationships that help our patients live their best lives.
Who We Are
Our team of partners are all fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons with over 65 years of practice in Colorado Springs. No one is better qualified to treat your injuries than our Orthopaedic surgeons with their extensive knowledge of joints, ligaments, and treatment options.
We don’t go home and leave our work behind – our patients and their health are our priorities. We are here to serve and educate our community for years to come.
We will oversee your exams and treatments with the highest level of technical and clinical expertise available. In fact one of the things that sets our team apart is how in-depth and complete our process is from start to finish. We customize our treatment plans to your specific needs and we are here for you every step of the way.
We stay up-to-date on the leading edge of our field allowing us to offer cutting edge non-invasive treatment options for many of the joint and musculoskeletal conditions that cause pain and disability.
Our Patients & Process
Our patients are looking for faster recovery, less invasive alternatives to surgery, or perhaps just trying to delay surgery. We only offer treatments that studies have shown to be safe and effective. With our knowledge of treatment options and available products we customize a plan specific to your needs and injury, taking the time to educate our clients on our products and procedures as we go. We value and take pride in our patient’s outcomes and look forward to seeing them in the future for other problems.
Our process begins with a thorough orthopaedic evaluation. This includes:
- a discussion to define your symptoms
- physical examination and expert review of your radiographic studies (X-Rays and MRI). If we determine that you could benefit from these treatments, the injections are done using image guidance for maximum safety and effectiveness.
Some of the conditions we treat include:
- Arthritis ( knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, ankle, wrist, thumb, and other joints)
- Tendinitis ( tennis elbow, jumper’s knee, golfer’s elbow)
- Ligament tears (MCL of knee or elbow)
- Neuropathy and Neuropathic pain
There are two options for treatment: one includes sources from the patient (autograft) and the second is donated tissue (allograft).
- Platelet rich plasma (PRP)
- Bone marrow concentrate
- Adipose tissue
- Umbilical cord tissue and cord blood
- Amniotic membrane or fluid
Our goal is to serve our community with our knowledge, experience, and cutting edge treatments in a rapidly expanding field. All of our partners have extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal system, surgical treatment options, and surgical alternatives, ensuring you will receive the best treatment plan customized specifically for you. As members of this community we are invested in our patients outcomes and we are excited to build a future in Colorado Springs with you.
